A good weekend bag is a travel essential. I purchased the Lo & Sons Catalina bag at the beginning of the Summer, and I have been recommending it left and right. I've taken it on a few trips and it has held up extremely well and also made packing a breeze. When I was initially looking at weekenders, I found too many bags were a true duffle, just one big compartment with no smaller pockets which makes packing a complete headache and mess.
The key components to a good weekend bag:
- Separate compartment for shoes and toiletries.
- Square shape (so you don't hit people with your long duffle)
- Both shoulder straps and a crossbody strap
- Sturdy fabric or leather (extra points if it's easy to clean)
