GRAPHIC TEE'S

As of late, I feel like graphic tee's are making a comeback. I have always liked a cool graphic shirt placed in the right outfit, it just adds a little bit more of the cool-girl feel. For a night out, I love one paired with a printed skirt and simple blazer.

WHAT TO WEAR: WORK

Bringing your personal style to work can be a tough challenge. I grew up watching my dad wear suits every day, so i just figured thats how it was. Black, navy or grey with a white shirt.

Snoozefest, right? Right.

Thankfully, joining the working world made me realize that not all office dress codes are that formal and boring. Enter the colored pants, which I really just think are fantastic and quirky for work. Mix those with chambray and a layered cardigan, and you will look not only stylish but professional.

Work Wear

Cardigan, Target $17
Button down, J Crew $30 - Pants, J Crew $54
Heels, Zara $50 - Bag, Zara $50 - Necklace, Topshop $30 - Ipad Case, Juicy Couture $48

ORGANIZING MAKEUP BRUSHES

As of late, I have entirely too much time on my hands so I have taken the opportunity to give my apartment a good scrub down. Unfortunately for me, this includes organizing. I would much rather wash dishes than organize every day of the week. As for my makeup, to be honest I usually leave it on the floor in front of my mirror, and occasionally throw it all into a makeup bag.

This my friends, is very bad for your brushes.

I very much like this idea of using pretty cups or jars to organize your brushes. It's very simple to keep clean, adds a cute touch to your room or bathroom, and makes your brushes easily accessible.

My picks:

Makeup Glasses

Top Row:
Inhabit Living $40 (set of 4)
C. Wonder $54 (set of 4)
Pier1 $3

Bottom Row:
World Market $12 (set of 3)

CELEB COPYCAT: ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELY

I think it's pretty apparent I am very into monochrome looks right now. Here, I love that Rosie Huntington-Whitely added the pop of red in her bag. I tend to think of deeper reds as a winter color, but I think the lightness of the outfit balances it out for a summer night.

Rosie Celeb Style

Sweater, Vila $46 - Tee, Pickwick and Weller $28 - Skinnies, Zara $60
Hat, Columbia $30 - Necklace, Fossil $38
Bag,  Zara $80 - Booties, Style&co $75

BEAUTY BARGAIN: NYC NAIL POLISH

I pick and choose what beauty products I like to spend on. Concealer, powder, blush, and eyeshadow definitely fall in the money spending camp. What doesn't? Eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and most of all nailpolish. I don't know why, but $8 for nail polish just seems freaking crazy to me. I have tried out my fair share of the ultra cheap (looking at you Sinful Colors... worst nail polish ever), and usually the quality is just too terrible to deal with. Today I gave NYC in a NY Minute polish from Target and was very pleasantly surprised.

And it only cost $1.12! What!

Seriously, give it a try now. They have really cute colors, good texture, and are less than $2. I think I just found nail heaven.

WHO TO WATCH: PICKWICK AND WELLER

I seem to be endlessly searching for the ever-elusive perfect t-shirt (and for that matter tanks). Usually, I gravitate towards James Perse, but in this postgrad stage of my life, the price tags just aren't matching my wallet. Here enters Pickwick & Weller. I recently came across this line of easy tees and I can't wait to try them out. Starting at $26 for tanks and $28 for tees, they have everything from fitted to slouchy to outfit your wardrobe. Personally? I like a looser tee that clings in the right places, which is why I have my eye on the Hanna Long Fit. Since I am 5'9, I have a hard time finding shirts that are long enough for me, so I was happy to see they have long fits in a few styles.

I predict Pickwick & Weller will become a staple in every girls closet.

POST GRAD PICKS: BAUBLE BAR SALE

Bauble Bar is a great site for trendy jewelry that won't break your postgrad bank. Right now they are having a huge sale, and on top of the crazy prices they are offering an additional 25% off with the code: popsicle. Oh, and they have free ground shipping (shipping costs are my pet peeve of online shopping, that and the delayed gratification). Seriously, can it get any better? I already did some shopping today so I had to refrain from buying too many baubles today, but here are some of my favorite picks from the sale. I am dying over all the pretty collar and bib necklaces that would be fantastic layered under a chambray collar, or with a pretty strapless dress for summer!

NOW TRENDING: SHORT SUITS

Short suits are popping up everywhere, and I love them. They look very polished, but still fun and fashion forward. In my humble opinion, I really think they work best in prints or neon. Check out the inspo below, and keep a look out for a short suit outfit coming up!

WHITE HOT SUMMER

I love an all white outfit for summer. It is breezy, clean, and modern. However, this look can be difficult to pull off. Want to rock it? As with most monochromatic looks, I personally think that shorts, skirts, and dresses work best. Add in gold jewelry with white enamel, a great bag, and some huarache style sandals for an awesome summer look.

Just make sure you don't spill.
