GET THE LOOK: LAUREN CONRAD

I think everyone can agree that Lauren Conrad has a fantastic and approachable sense of style. My personal style differs from hers, but I still draw a lot of inspiration from her outfits. I spotted this one in particular, and felt like it will be perfect for when San Francisco inevitably cools down a bit. It's casual and easy, and would transition well to night with a quick shoe change.

It's Friday, the weather is perfect, and there is a Freda Salvador sample sale tomorrow. Could it get much better?

• Ready Player One is my favorite book of all times, and now Steven Spielberg is tapped for the movie version. Hell Yes. 
• H&M's home line is so wonderfully affordable. This cloche is sitting in my cart. 
• Possibly the best interview I have ever read. 
• I want these framed in my house.
• I need this dress and these shoes. 

SHOW SOME SHOULDER

There are certain aspects I love about each seasons style, but I think I can wholeheartedly say that Spring is my favorite season to dress for. This spring, I am looking forward to off the shoulder dresses. I find that off the shoulder dresses with a straight across neckline make shoulders look too broad, so I have been excited to see that there are so many styles with a staggered sleeve available.

BRAND TO WATCH: MVMT WATCHES

I think every postgrad needs a classic watch. Unfortunately, watches can also be very expensive, so I am always on the hunt for brands that are high  quality, look nice, and are affordable. It's pretty hard to find the trifecta of all three. 

I originally found MVMT Watches when they ran an Indiegogo campaign to get their men's watch line off the ground. I loved the men's line, it was very simple, clean, and modern. Plus I loved their mission that you can have a great quality watch at an affordable price.

Then finally, my prayers were answered. They came out with a women's line of four watches that are all perfect for everyday wear.  My personal favorite is the tan leather band, and it has definitely been added to my lust list! 

The watches are $115 for the Silver band, and $125 for the Gold, Rose Gold, and Leather.
