Hello Weekend!

Three day weekends are best, because the work week is extra short. This week flew by, and for the weekend I'm heading down to LA.  On the agenda: exploring DTLA, sipping drinks in the sun, and a birthday celebration for my wonderful grandpa. He's 94!! As with every time I head down to Southern California, I am overwhelmed with excitement to see my family and my friends.

• I made my own version of this roasted veggie salad this week for a potluck, and it was quite the hit! So easy to make, and so tasty. 
• I have no words for the video, it is incredible. And can we talk about Jesse J's jumpsuit AND hair AND lipstick? Damn.
• And this is amazing. This guy is more skilled in styling his beard than I am with my own hair.
