FRIDAY LINKS
I adore Slim Aaron's photography. Why didn't I grow up in the 60's as an ultra chic socialite?
Life could have been pretty grand.

THREE MUST HAVE FITNESS APPS
I'm not really an app junkie. If you open up my phone, I've pretty much got the basics. A few cab apps, maps, and maybe one or two games. But what you can count on is a whole gang of fitness apps to help me stay on track. I have given a try to a wide variety, and these are my top three.
1. Runkeeper
The best app for runners, by far. Besides tracking your distance and time, it tracks pace per mile so you can see where you sped up or slowed down. It's really easy to do paced runs with this app. Definitely download it if you are training for any races!
2. Pact
If you have trouble sticking to your fitness routine, Pact is for you. Basically, you are betting on yourself. When you set up a pact, you enter a number of days you will work out per week, and how much money you want to bet per day. If you fulfill your pact, you get paid, but if you don't, you pay up. It also connects to a Fitbit, Jawbone, or Nike Fuel band so you can track activity through them.
3. Songza
You really need Songza in your life period, but I mostly love it for working out. You can select what type of workout you are doing and what genre of music you like and it gives you a preset playlist. My personal favorite is 'Drop-a-Beat Workout'.

NOW TRENDING: ESPADRILLES
I love that espadrilles are popping up everywhere. I wear ballet flats a lot in the winter, but espadrilles are so much more relaxed for the warm weather. I will definitely be adding a few pairs to my closet.

POSTGRAD LOVES: PINEAPPLES
My seventh grade yearbook photo is an embarrassing one. I have braces and couldn't quite figure out how to do my hair yet. To top it off, I was wearing a red, cotton sleeveless shirt that had a cartoon pineapple and said "delicious!" under it. It was my favorite shirt and I wore it all the time. I still look back and laugh, but I still adore those damn pineapples.
Dress, Delias $15 - Shorts, Topshop $28 - Turban, See You Monday $11 - Bikini Bottoms, River Island $9
Pineapple Corer, Sur La Table $15 - T Shirt, Dazzle and Jolt $30

NAILS + LIPS
This may sound strange, but I have been so into matching nails and lips lately. Nail polish and lipstick were both things I didn't get into until after college, but now I can't get enough of either. My makeup bag and medicine cabinet are literally exploding with polishes and lipsticks. In terms of both, I prefer bold. And for some reason, when they match, it just makes me a little happier. I find it oddly chic.

FRIDAY LINKS
Phew, this week was a long one, and I am so happy to see Friday. I am in desperate need of some sleep, and at the perfect time. I made my first big girl purchase this week... a new bed! I can't wait for it to be delivered and then just lay in it all weekend long.
Until there are margaritas present. Or champagne. Then I will get up.
Cheers!
-This video had me completely enraptured for six minutes and forty one seconds.

SPRING UNIFORM
I am so excited for Spring that I can barely stand it. Being able to wear dresses and sandals this past weekend was so glorious, and it makes me want to go to parks, and the farmers market, and the beach, and drink on patios! So pretty much all my favorite things.
I purchased a denim jacket yesterday, and a vest is up next. And then a white denim jacket... and a white denim vest... Someone stop me, please!
Also I should note, two of my friends introduced me to the Clinique Chubby Stick and the Essie polish color below and I am beyond obsessed. Having pretty, stylish, hip friends pays off sometimes ;)!

POSTGRAD LOVES: MASCULINE INTERIORS
I love talking affordable decor on the blog, especially because I've been updating my apartment bit by bit. But, a few weeks ago, my brother called me and asked to help him pick out some decor for his living room. I was beyond excited. Mostly because the only thing I like more than spending my own money is spending other people's money... kidding! But I am excited to take on another design aesthetic and have an expanded budget. I dove straight in to inspiration boards and came up with the two below that I think are really fun.
