BEST DRESSED: MET BALL

After seeing the Met Ball photos I was ... bored. Let down, if you will. The theme this year was punk, Where was the Christian Siriano? WHERE WAS THE ALEXANDER MCQUEEN! Somehow the attendee's idea of punk translated in black gowns and eyeliner. Yawn. Or they disregarded the punk notice and just wore pretty gowns. I love pretty gowns as much as the next girl, but save that for award season! So much could have been done, I am so disappointed. That being said, there were serious standouts for Best Dressed this year.

Holy Platinum Blonde Hair! Amazing. The Dress, also amazing.
Anne Hathaway in vintage Valentino

My favorite look of the evening by far.
Cara Delevigne in Burberry

Usually three loud pieces are overwhelming, but they are perfectly complimenting each other here.
Elizabeth Banks in Versace
Obsessed with this jacket beyond words, plus the hairpiece looks ridiculously cute on her.
Sienna Miller in Burberry

Amazing back detailing.
 Dakota Fanning in Rodarte

The Red Carpet needed more leather! Thank you Doutzen.
 Doutzen Kroes in Theysken's Theory

Obviously she nailed the punk theme, and still looks beautiful.
Gwen Stefani in Maison Martin Margiela

Loooooooove this.
Kate Bosworth in Balmain

Although this is similar to her VMA's look, the girl is WEARING that mini.
Stacey Keibler in Rachel Roy

I love that she opted for a dark lip instead of smokey eyes and heavy liner.
Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture

 Awesomely 80's.
Marion Cotillard in Dior

For me the necklace is a bit heavy, but I love the print of the dress.
 Leslie Mann in J. Mendel

I wish she had gone with more severe hair, but Swifty looks amazing in this dress. The lace panels are EVERYTHING.
Taylor Swift in J. Mendel

Risky look that definitely works. Loving the chainmail panel.
 Anja Rubik in Anthony Vaccarello
